villa la grotta was a delightful surprise during our recent stay in san giustino valdarno. the friendly owner and stunning tuscan setting exceeded our expectations. the relaxing atmosphere and well-placed location made it easy to explore local attractions. the large balcony and breathtaking views from our room added to the charm. the staff's exceptional service and helpful recommendations made our stay memorable. we will definitely return.

no curtains on bedroom windows

the apartment was spacious comfortable and spotless. the location is a perfect getaway. quiet restful and beautiful countryside all around.

i phoned in the orning to expalin i would be arriving after 8 pm. I was told this was fine. when we arrived at circa 2015, there was no reception but a note saying reception closes at 20.00, with the key in it. not on at all. if it's a hotel, which is how it is advertised, i expect recption to be present 24/7.

It was quiet, clean and spacious.

With pool closed not a lot to do. Little information about shopping, restaurants, vineyards or other attractions nearby.

The family-run villa was incredibly hospitable and made us feel at home. The Tuscan-style apartment was comfortable and cleaned daily. The swimming pool and poolside chairs were clean and comfortable. It was convenient to order beverages and ice creams by the pool, and the breakfast was delicious with amazing coffee.

Not obvious to find.

Unfortunately even paradise can have some faults. It needs to pay attention to small details which can make it completely paradise. The request for a second pillow met no response for three days, sheets were not change during our week long stay, and the waste were not regularly emptied, no bars of soap although shampoo was provided. Altogether insufficient attention to the small but important details, obviously the result of the lack of a woman's touch.

The rooms are clean and comfortable with all the basic amenities necessary for a relaxing stay. Breakfast is delicious with plenty of options to choose from. The staff go out of their way to help and offer excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions.

I really enjoyed the view from my room which was breathtaking. The staff are helpful and always ready to assist, they made my stay comfortable. The room was well equipped and clean with all the necessary amenities.

Limited food options & the hotel is quite remote. The food options were limited and I had to order from outside the hotel.

I had an amazing stay at a hotel near beautiful vineyards, with easy transportation and parking, in a very quiet location. The hotel facilities were great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious with the best ham I have ever eaten.
